At Bryant Street Baptist Church we are changing to be more like Christ. We have not arrived, but know the God who desires us to live and love like Christ.

What a joy it is to introduce you to our church! You’ll discover that our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with God.

The central idea of our church is that Christ has saved us, not because we are worthy, but because God loves us and offers that gift of forgiveness and redemption to all. It is a free gift that cost God dearly as he gave his only Son to us, to come to earth, to suffer and die for our sins. This gift is what we have in common, what drives us to come together, and what changes us from the inside as we learn of his great love and it becomes our love to Him and to others.

At Bryant Street, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We don’t expect anyone to show up a super Christian. And certainly, there are no super Christians here. We admit we need God and each other to fulfill our God given destinies. Come as you are and enjoy our powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in creative and practical ways.

Sunday morning is the most important time in our life together as a church. It is the one time each week when we all gather together to hear from God through the teaching of His word and to respond to Him in worship. We love it when new people join us. We hope you will come and worship with us this Sunday and we want you to feel welcome. Here is a little information on what you can expect:

  • The centerpiece of Bryant Street Baptist is solid teaching from the Bible. We not only believe that the Bible is the completely true and trustworthy Word of God, we also believe God gave it to us for the express purpose of shaping our thinking and our behavior. Therefore, we always dedicate time to hearing God’s word taught when we gather on Sundays. After a time of worship with song, praise and prayer, a pastor reads from the Bible, explains what it means, and applies God’s truth to our lives.

  • God has not only called us to learn from Him, but also to worship Him. Therefore, we usually spend the first portion of our worship service singing songs to God. We make every effort to ensure that our worship services are focused on God and on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Sunday morning service time is currently 9:30 am. Due to COVID-19, the service is being held outdoors in compliance with regulations and best practices, such as social distancing, masks, etc.
